WHAT IS EVANGELIZE GEORGIA?
Christians From Everywhere
Spreading the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST Everywhere
We are a group of Christians who boldly proclaim the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST wherever GOD opens a door. We do a lot of street evangelism, festival booths, Bible and tract distribution, and some open-air preaching. We also equip the Saints to go and do likewise by inviting them to join us. We believe the best teacher is the HOLY SPIRIT, and HE instructs us as we go and proclaim the Gospel. Our vision is JESUS’ Great Commission. We are not affiliated with a specific church or denomination.
Presidents: Jonathan and Alicia Tubbs have been evangelizing since 2018. In 2025, they made EVANGELIZE GEORGIA an official nonprofit organization. They currently run the organization as volunteers for JESUS.
OUR BELIEFS
Before joining up with EVANGELIZE GEORGIA, please make sure you hold the following beliefs. If you differ significantly with us in your beliefs, we ask that you not evangelize with us.
-Jesus is the Son of God, God in the Flesh, the Messiah. He always existed as God and is one with the Father (John 1).
-Jesus is co-Creator with the Father and Holy Spirit (John 1, Colossians 1, Hebrews 1). All things were created through Jesus, including the angels.
-Jesus is not, nor has He ever been, and angel. Jesus and Satan are not brothers, nor are they equal in power. Jesus is infinitely superior. Jesus is Lord of all, even over Satan. In fact, Jesus created Satan.
-God created all angels to be good, including Satan, but Satan and the rebel-angels chose to betray God and are now entirely evil and destined to spend eternity in torment in the Lake of Fire.
-We believe God is ONE but exists as the Holy Trinity–God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. They are three in ONE.
-The Bible is the Holy word of God. It is perfect and timeless, and it’s the final authority on all human activity.
-All humans are sinners in need of God’s saving grace.
-We cannot earn our way to Heaven by doing good or being kind. Good deeds and kindness are good, but only the blood of Jesus pays for our sins.
-God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, down from Heaven to Earth so that Jesus could pay the penalty for our sins.
-Jesus was born as God in the flesh. He lived a perfect life, having never sinned once. He is God’s spotless Passover Lamb. His blood is the most precious and acceptable payment for sin.
-With His own blood, Jesus paved the way to Heaven for anyone who trusts in Him when He willingly died on the cross for our sins.
-Jesus was buried and rose into an immortal body on the third day.
-Upon belief in Jesus, a person is reborn of the Holy Spirit, who is also God (the third person of the Holy Trinity). At that moment, the believer receives full payment for sins and the power to overcome sin. The Holy Spirit seals the believer for the day of resurrection, when believers are resurrected into an immortal body.
-Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is a one-time event, and if a person is truly reborn of the Holy Spirit, salvation can never be lost. Some Christians believe a person can lose his or her salvation by renouncing Christianity. We believe such a person was never truly saved. You are still welcome to join us in evangelizing if you believe the person actually was saved and salvation was lost, but please understand that we teach if a person is truly reborn of GOD, he or she cannot be un-reborn. We don’t teach “once saved always saved,” but rather, “if saved, always saved.”
-We recommend all Christians get baptized by immersion following a profession of faith. We understand the early church allowed for pouring if immersion was not available.
-Jesus is the only way to Heaven. All other beliefs trap people in sin and mislead them to Hell.
-Repentance is necessary for salvation. Belief and repentance are one and the same action. If a person believes in Jesus alone to save him, he is at the same time forsaking all former false beliefs and sin. True faith in Jesus means turning away from anything outside of Jesus. To believe in Jesus is to forsake and renounce your former ways and to turn to Jesus with your whole heart.
-In Christ, the believer is a new creation and seeks to repent of sin and live in obedience to the Bible, God’s Holy word. A profession of faith without the fruit of repentance is most likely a false conversion.
-We believe the gifts of the Spirit are for all Christians, throughout all of time. You may still join us if you disagree, but please be advised: We cast out demons, speak in tongues, and heal the sick because that’s what Jesus tells His followers to do.
-All humans will be resurrected at some point in the future. Those who belong to Jesus will live eternally with God in paradise (The Millennial Kingdom for 1000 years, followed by the New Heavens and Earth). All who reject Jesus will face eternal death in the Lake of Fire, known as Hell.
-Satan and his demons are real. They are at work in the world, but Jesus will them cast into the Lake of Fire for eternity after His second coming. Jesus will reign on Earth as He does in Heaven. Jesus is the King Eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God.
